Yes, as urgent projects require greater mobilisation more resources. You will receive a detailed quote. In case that the deadline for the job is really tight, we will provide you a time of delivery.

Definitely not. The target text will be impeccable in any way even if the source is just pidgin. Please note, however, that if the source text is ambiguous, the translation process may be slowed down and we might need to ask you questions before proceeding.

If the text has parts that recur several times without many differences, allow actually faster processing, and we are able to negotiate a lower price. Please, point out this aspect when asking for the quote.

No, we do not make transcripts at present.

For the professional handling of very technical texts nothing can replace glossaries. It ensures consistency between different parts of the document that may be assigned to different translators, and between different documents on the same topic. It is also the best way to make the process smooth and fast. So if you have one, do not hesitate do send it to us.

No, we do not work with paper documents. If you need a translation from a paper document, please scan your text and send it as a picture or a PDF file.

All invoices should be paid no later than 30 days after the invoice date, except if another date is agreed by Veda Intertrans Ltd. Unpaid invoices will be subject to a 15% service charge (with a minimum of 50 Euros) per reminder without any prior notification.

No, we don’t as this requires sworn translators, which we are not. We can often source a sworn translator for established clients.

We generally translate from and into English, French, Dutch, Spanish, German and Italian. For regular customers, we also offer additional languages. Make a request and we shall provide your quote.

Yes, we will definetely : some companies have talented employees who can translate between language pairs. However, rarely do they have the professional experience and training. Thus, you may have an initial draft undertaken by an employee to see if a full translation merits the expense. If it does, you will send that first draft to us to be fully edited and proofread into a professional final result.

No! We certainly can achieve very rapid turnarounds. However, that does require some rapid planning, being able to identify the right translators (and for sure they are not sitting around twiddling their thumbs waiting for the phone call!) and the ability to pay the premiums required for them to work unsocial hours which necessitates higher price rates.
